Things to do close to our luxurious caravan hire Hemsby park

Here at the Seabreeze Holiday Park, we're always willing to go that extra mile for our guests. We want you to get the most out of your Norfolk holiday, and some of the fantastic local activities close to our beautiful caravan park include:

Horsey Beach

The eastern coastline offers a wealth of lovely little beaches for you to enjoy. Horsey is one of the quietest beach hideaways close to Seabreeze Holiday Park. It's hidden down a track and you won't find any amenities there, but what you will discover is peaceful solitude, as you're highly likely to have the beach to yourself for the duration of your visit. If you're very lucky, you may be able to spot a few basking seals or they could even be on the beach - you'll soon spot them from the top of the marram-covered bank. Marram is the old Norse-derived word which means sea and grass.

Horsey Windpump

While you're visiting Horsey Beach, you should also take the time to visit Horsey Windpump, the local National Trust site. There are lots of scenic walks from Horsey Windpump, plus a historic windmill. Alternatively, you might prefer to take a boat trip and explore this hidden area of the Norfolk Broads even further. You'll see lots of birds and wildlife on your boat trip and on your return there's nothing more refreshing than enjoying a pot of tea and buttered scones at the Horsey Tea Shop

Local boat trips

There are plenty more boat trips or boat yards in the locality where you can hire a boat to explore the Broads at your leisure. One of the major benefits of taking boats out on the Broads for the day is that you don't have to worry about opening and closing locks!

Norfolk is renowned for its fantastic fishing spots and Potter Heigham is an ideal place to fish. It's located just seven miles from our park. If you'd prefer to check out the sea fishing scene, Scratby beach is a short walk from Hemsby and the local garden centre sells lug worms for bait, which can help you catch a few codling or bass.

Great Yarmouth

If you enjoy the thrills and spills of the funfair, you won't want to miss the exciting rides at the Yarmouth Pleasure Beach. You'll also find Yarmouth is one of the busiest locations for bars, theatres, clubs and live entertainment in the vicinity. So, don't neglect visiting Great Yarmouth for at least one full day during your stay.

You'll find lots of entertainment facilities and gastro pub dining close to Seabreeze Holiday Park too, and when you need peace and quiet you can relax in the luxurious comfort of your stylish holiday home.

We look forward to meeting you!
